The ever-handsome Dr. Andrea Fanti returns, and this time there is a glimmer of hope that he could regain his lost memories. Confronted by the truth of the last twelve years which he has forgotten, Dr. Fanti will learn that the things he has been told about his past may not entirely be based in reality, as memories begin to untangle a web of lies. One thing can always be counted on, however, and that is his passion for treating patients despite his personal woes.
Doc season 3 premieres Thursday 1 August on SBS On Demand alongside seasons 1 and 2.

Junior doctors are the front-line medics of any hospital. Every year hundreds are lured down under from the UK and Ireland with the promise of surf and sunshine, and it just so happens the Australian health care system is looking to attract junior doctors who will become the next generation of professionals, as our health care system faces increased strain. However, in return for a place in our busy hospitals, the young doctors in training must sign up for something they’ve never done before – The Emergency Department. Will the young doctors pass their toughest test: treating life and death trauma far away from loved ones? If they thought they were coming for a holiday, they were wrong.

When his brother Michael, a former soldier, becomes involved with violent criminal gangs, Detective Sergeant John Rebus finds himself at a dangerous crossroads. Will he uphold the law and put an end to the brutality spreading across the streets of Edinburgh? Or will he pursue his own moral code in a world where the law is beginning to lack meaning. After all, if everything across the nation is plunging into discordance, including his personal life, why shouldn’t he? ‘Rebus’ is based on the best-selling books by Ian Rankin, and re-imagines the beloved character of John Rebus as a young Detective Sergeant.

The Red King – season 1

As Grace digs into the mysterious history of the island, she discovers a hidden religion known as the True Way. Lies are exposed, deadly truths come to the surface and Grace is set on a dangerous investigation that could destabilise all she knows about the community she has been charged with protecting.

This is only the beginning of her crime-solving journey, in which every case she involves herself with contains a twisted truth buried away beneath a seemingly innocent surface.

Tour de France Femmes

Kicking off in Rotterdam, Netherlands, hitting the hills of Liège, Belgium and coming to a summit finish at France’s Alpe d’Huez at an impressive elevation of 1,850m (6,070ft), the Tour de France Femmes 2024 is set to be a race for the ages. Get ready for seven days of cycling with eight gripping stages covering a total of 946 kilometres. A total of 22 teams will be competing this year for first place.
Tour de France Femmes 2024 premieres Monday 12 August on SBS VICELAND and SBS On Demand, with new stages daily until Sunday 18 August. The race kicks off with Tour de France Femmes 2024, Stage 1, which airs at 8:00PM, Monday 12 August.

Returning to SBS with his new three part series Ray Martin: The Last Goodbye, he takes an investigative deep dive into one of the nation’s last taboos – and life’s only absolute certainty – death.

Get in gear for this year’s Vuelta a España (La Vuelta), Spain’s annual multi-stage bicycle race. 2024’s race will be made up of 21 stages including 8 mountain stages and 5 hilly stages with 2 high-altitude finales. It will cover a total distance of 3265 kilometres from Lisbon to Baiona.

On the back of the success of Great Australian Walks returns to SBS with a brand-new series – only this time beloved comedy legend Julia Zemiro (Fisk, RocKwiz) is sharing her step counter with two additional presenters: comedian Susie Youssef (Deadloch, The Project) and Gina Chick. Featuring 10 spectacular new walks, each episode invites viewers to slow down and join either Julia, Susie or Gina on an intimate journey of discovery as they soak in the sights, sounds and stories that define Australia.
